5th Graders Experience Outdoor Learning at Camp Kirby

Camp Kirby is a 2-night sleep-away camp for our fifth graders taken at the beginning of October. The students find themselves in a spectacular and remote setting, complete with rustic bunks and cabins, lodge meals, and campfire songs.

The students focus on parent-led outdoor and environmental studies. There is also a stop with scientists at the Padilla Bay Interpretive Center. It’s an opportunity for classmates and teachers to bond at the beginning of a very demanding, assignment- and activity-packed year.
