Dual Language Immersion Pathways
Dual Language Immersion Program Pathways
Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese
Seattle Public Schools is committed to offering a K-12 Dual Language Immersion (DLI) pathway for Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin DLI students. A student entering a DLI program within an International School at the elementary level would be able to continue in that DLI program into the middle school and high school pathways, guaranteed (if they select that school).
Non-DLI students, with the right amount of language proficiency, may be able to join the DLI pathway in the upper elementary grades, or at the middle or high school level.
