After School Activities (ASA)
Welcome to the After School Activities
Welcome to the John Stanford International After School Activities page! The ASA program is a parent-volunteer-led program that coordinates with after-school enrichment providers to offer classes throughout the school year.
There are no classes held during school holidays, early release days or weather closures that affect the afternoon schedule. Learn more on the ASA website!
Program Updates
We hope you have had a great school year! As we end 2020-21 and head into the 2021-2022 school year, the ASA team is working to restart in person activities and classes as soon as possible. At this time, due to current SPS COVID guidelines, we will not be planning to offer classes for Fall 2021 — as a result, we do not expect ASA to resume any earlier than for the Winter 2022 session (which usually begins in January). ASA courses depend on sharing classroom space. We aim to restart offerings as soon as SPS COVID guidance allows. Stay tuned for more updates and/or visit the JSIS ASA Facebook page.
If you are looking for childcare this Fall, we recommend checking out Latona School Associates, the onsite childcare, or the Boys & Girls Club of Wallingford who historically will pick up kids to bring to their center after school.
Meanwhile, many of our past vendors may still be planning to offer remote classes if you’re looking for after-school online enrichment. 6Crickets manages registration for many of theses classes — check them out on 6Crickets Marketplace.
We hope to see you again soon!
