    Book Fair Thank You

The Monster Mash Book Fair was a smashing success!  The numbers are finally in and your support resulted in $1,884 profit for the JSIS Library.  Tom Nissley and the Phinney Book crew were in awe of this community and our passion for books.  In addition, families spent $1,000 in Phinney Book Teacher Dollars to support literacy in classrooms.  Thank you! I am grateful to work in a community that LOVES books. Your generosity will enhance the library’s diverse collection, provide books in three languages, and put fun titles in the hands of eager readers.

Thank you to my fearless book fair co-coordinators:  Kelsey Camp, Erin Fortier, and Erica Bigelow.  Thank you to Deilyn Osby Sande for coordinating the Japanese Used Book Swap.  Thank you to the volunteers who help set up and pack up the book fair:   Theresa Gilliam, Julie Wittman, Chris Weller, Solveig Hart, Maggie Williams, Julie Brandt, Kagari Ohta, and Piper Woodworth.

    Thank you, Arigato, and Gracias!
